Per Hasselberg
February 20 - May 30, 2010

As winter passes into spring, a retrospective exhibition of the work of Per Hasselberg (1850-1894) will be mounted. He was one of the leading Swedish sculptors of the late 19th century and is well represented in Prince Eugen's collection. Per Hasselberg remained faithful to his sculptural idiom throughout his life. The exhibition includes full-body female nudes, busts and drawings.

The art of medicine Medical treasures
- books and illustrations from the Middle Ages to Lennart Nilsson.

May 8 - August 29, 2010

In honour of the 200th anniversary of the Karolinska Institutet, an exhibition of art and literary treasures from the Hagströmer Library will be mounted. It includes beautiful and unusual illustrations and posters created in the service of medicine from the 15th century to today. These medical illustrations have rarely been displayed publicly before.

Prince Eugen's art collection and
the Bernadotte jubilee

June 15 - October 3, 2010
This year is the 200th anniversary of Jean Baptiste Bernadotte's selection as heir to the Swedish throne. The Bernadotte jubilee is being celebrated around the country. In conjunction with the jubilee, we are exhibiting drawings of Princess Eugenie from the Museum's collection.

During the summer we will also show a selection of Prince Eugen's own art and works of other artists in the collection, for exampel Ernst Josephson, Anders Zorn, Carl Larsson, Bruno Liljefors, Isaac Grünewald, Sigrid Hjertén and Vera Nilsson.
Ring and crown
June 15 - October 3 2010

A small exhibition with rings and crowns will be on show in conjunction with the royal wedding.
